Michael Waltrip Brewing Company has announced plans to open a new Michael Waltrip Signature Bar later this month inside Eleven Lakes Brewing.

The Cornelius location will be the fourth signature bar for the company and is a new partnership with Eleven Lakes, integrating the concept into the brewery’s existing taproom.

The space will highlight the racing career of Cornelius-resident Michael Waltrip, a two-time Daytona 500 winner, with memorabilia from his personal collection. The venue will also offer limited-edition beers, branded merchandise and host themed events throughout the year.

Customers will be able to sample and purchase beers including Talladega Light lager, Bristol Sunshine Tangerine Ale and The Big One double lager, along with rotating specialty brews created for the location. Carryout options will be available.

Waltrip said he looks forward to sharing the company’s beers with local residents and visitors to the Charlotte area.

Eleven Lakes owner and general manager Teri Lippy said the partnership positions the brewery as a gathering place for racing fans.

Michael Waltrip Brewing Company, founded in 2020, distributes its beers across six states and has expanded into hospitality and entertainment ventures. Its other three taprooms are located in Tennessee.
