Meet local business owners at the LKN Chamber Expo

Oct. 9. The trade show granddaddy of them all — the Lake Norman Chamber Expo — takes place Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the Huntersville Recreation Center.

The event brings together 120 businesses and nonprofits and more than 1,700 attendees for the largest business trade show in the region.

The expo runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public, and on-site parking is available. The Huntersville Recreation Center is located at 11836 Verhoeff Drive, off Statesville Road just south of Gilead Road.

Exhibitors include a broad mix of Lake Norman-area companies representing industries such as hospitality, entertainment, home renovation, and health and wellness. One new exhibitor this year is The Serve Pickleball + Kitchen, which opens its doors Oct. 15 on Chartown Drive in Cornelius.

The event, originally held at Davidson College, has grown steadily over the years.

“Some of the businesses participating have done so since the first show in 2001,” said Bill Russell, president and CEO of the chamber. “Lake Norman business owners know their success is tied to the success of their neighbors and friends. We are stronger as a community when we work together to ensure the success of our fellow business owners.”

For a complete list of sponsors, exhibitors, and other information visit the chamber’s website at www.lakenormanchamber.org or call 704-892-1922.

Cornelius Today will be located at Booth 312. Stop by for Halloween candy and to sign our community poster highlighting what residents love most about living in Lake Norman.
