Oct. 10. Lake Norman’s favorite fall music and beer festival returns this weekend for its 13th year.
The annual Laketoberfest Music & Brew Festival will take place Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m. at Bailey Road Park. The event is hosted by Cornelius Parks and Recreation and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Lake Norman Wildlife.
Music schedule
4:10 pm: Roy Daye Jr. Duo (acoustic)
5:30 pm: Envision (R&B, variety and dance)
7:30 pm: The Chain (Fleetwood Mac tribute band)
Beer and wine vendors
760 Craft Works, Ass Clown Brewing, Boondogglers Brewing, Dover Vineyards, Eleven Lakes Brewing, Hoptown Brewing, Jolly Roger Brewing, King Canary Brewery, Lake Norman Brewery, Lost Worlds Brewing and Primal Brewery.
Concessions
5th Sin Food Truck, A Couple of Nuts, Carolina Smach Truck, The Cream Puff Lady, Eggroll Company, Finito’s Italian Kitchen, Funnel Cakes by Pam, GGC Smokehouse, Mom Boss Baker, Queen City Pretzel, Ripiano Superior Queens Wings, Sandwich Express, Sharetea and State Fair Mini Donuts.
KidsZone
Located on the upper field, the KidsZone will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. and features an inflatable slide, bounce houses, an obstacle course, an inflatable soccer field, and arts and crafts vendors.
Event guidelines
Pets, smoking or vaping, tents, sparklers, glass containers and outside alcohol are not permitted.
Parking and ride share
Parking is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to limited spaces at Bailey Road Park, parking is available at Bailey Middle School and Hough High School, with free shuttle service to the park provided. There is a designated ride share drop-off area next to the Bailey Middle School football field.
