Ada Jenkins Center hosts 7th annual fundraiser

Aug. 18. The Ada Jenkins Center will host its 7^th Annual FIRE! Barbeque and Cookoff Competition on Saturday, Oct. 24. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ada Jenkins Center, 212 Gamble St., Davidson, rain or shine. Cost of admission is $10 per ticket. This will buy supporters a BBQ lunch or samples from the BBQ competition. This years’ proceeds will benefit LEARN Works — an organization that provides after-school enrichment for 129 area students — The Mobile Community Dental Clinic and the Free Clinic of Our Towns.
