Vigils, GoFundMe account for mom who died at 25

Feb. 18. By Tonya Rivens. As the community struggles to understand the loss of 25-year-old Gabriel “Gabby” Henderson, the family is making funeral arrangements, which are currently incomplete. She was accidentally shot in her apartment on Meridian Street and died on Monday night.

A single mom, Gabby leaves behind five children.

Two candlelight vigils are planned:

—Friday, 4 pm, LC Coleman Park, 1501 McDonald St. in Charlotte

—Saturday, 6 pm, Cornelius Village Apartments, 19315 Meredian St., Cornelius
