Davidson’s traditional 4th of July events have been canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Davidson did not have fireworks — which have been  canceled at The Peninsula Club and Trump National Golf Course in Mooresville — but residents celebrated with a patriotic stroll along South Street and parade to the town green  where a concert was held.

There are currently no events scheduled at Birkdale Village in Huntersville.
