Yvonne Rose Gill, 55, of Huntersville, NC, passed away on December 16, 2016. She was born in Park Ridge, IL on April 10, 1961 to the late Phillip Huske and Eleanor Hoyer Huske.

She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Chris Gill; daughter, Caroline Gill; son, David Gill; mother, Eleanor Huske; and her beloved dog, Tuck.

Yvonne was compassionate, generous and lived life to the fullest. She was a two time breast cancer survivor and is an inspiration to others for her courage and perseverance in battling cancer. She made the world a better place and touched the lives of others she interacted with daily. She was passionate about all of her hobbies, including scrapbooking, cardmaking, birding, gardening, baking, reading books, movies, and watching TV. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all that knew her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Northlake Memorial Gardens in Huntersville.
