Here’s a look at what’s coming up:

Open Track Nights on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
6-8 pm. James Hoyt Wilhelm Park’s 1/4-mile walking track will be lighted on Mondays and Bailey Road Park’s regulation track will be lighted on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both open to the public.

Through Jan. 1: Zootastic Park Christmas Wonderland of Lights

6 – 9 pm Sunday through Thursday; 6-10 pm Fridays and Saturdays. $10 per person (ages 2 and older).
Use 448 Pilch Road entrance, Troutman. You will start lining up on the road with the light up arches.
Through Jan. 2, 2022
5 to 9 pm. The Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s annual holiday event features a topiary display, rolling lights of the Piedmont Prairie and twinkling cherry trees. Advance tickets for Holidays at the Garden are being sold online. A limited number of tickets are being sold for various time slots to help control the crowd. CDC protocols will be followed. Food trucks will be available.

The show is open 6-10 p.m. rain or shine and also features synchronized lights to music on 101.3 FM. Charlotte Motor Speedway, Concord.

This multi-disciplinary exhibition features work from husband and wife team Terry and Sue Ruhs of Waxhaw. Cornelius Arts Center. Gallery hours of operation: 10 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday.
