A Hero’s Homecoming featuring Tim Dugger

Doors 5:30 pm; show 7 pm | May 22. A Hero’s Homecoming is a celebration uniting a deserving veteran with their newly certified service canine in addition to a comedy show featuring a special guest comedian you won’t want to miss and music by singer/songwriter, Tim Dugger. Your attendance helps support the Checkered Flag Foundation’s mission to honor and assist those who have greatly sacrificed for our country at home and abroad. $59.15 to $310.15. A southern girl steeped in delta soul, she’s carried a melody in her heart since her formative years, advancing an almost genetic predisposition to the art form. Tickets start at $25. HEARTS Let Freedom Spring

2 pm | May 24. Featuring Scott Syfert and David Fleming on land once part of Alexandriana, the massive plantation estate of John McKnitt Alexander. Presented at Pioneer Springs Community School, the program features the historic Freedom Spring, where a group of Princeton scholars met to discuss freedom from British Rule, prompting the creation of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence on May 20, 1775.
