Live music

March 12: Blue Monday performs at BoatYard LKN

Sham-ROCK Festival

7 pm. Dani Kerr and special guest Blue Monday, Advance tickets, $10. BoatYard Lake Norman, 18418 Statesville Road.

Dale Beatty Memorial 5K

Starting at 10 am. The 5K benefits Purple Heart Homes. Event fee is $35, register online at http://www.PHHUSA.org/events. Lost Worlds Brewing, 19700-D, One Norman Blvd. After the run enjoy the Lost Worlds new release, Ardmore Irish Ale.

Our Town Stage Concert Series – Spin Doctors

Doors open at 7 pm. Cocktail hour starts at 7 pm, enjoy a cocktail at our cash bar located in the lobby of the auditorium. Buy tickets here. Joe V. Knox Auditorium at the The Charles Mack Citizen Center, Mooresville.

March 12: Color Me Green 5K Run at the Whitewater Center

Color Me Green 5K Run

Go green with a 5K competitive or recreational color run through the trails at the Whitewater Center.

Green River Revival 

Watch as the Whitewater Center’s resident leprechaun transforms the river green for St Patrick’s Day. Start the day with the Color Me Green 5K Trail Run before rafting down the river and listening to live music.

9 am Color Me Green 5K Trail Run (Competitive Division);

9:30 am Slow Flow Yoga;  10:30 am Color Me Green 5K Trail Run(Recreational Division); 11:30 am Open Level Flow;

1 pm River turns green and live music: New Breed Brass Band; 3 pm live music: Cha Wa. Whitewater Center.

Sunday, March 13

Hugh Torance House and Store Tour 

1-4 pm.  Step back in time to 1779 and explore the Hugh Torance House and Store, 8231 Gilead Road, Huntersille. Guided tours at 1:15 and 3 pm. There is no fee but donations are most welcome.
