No swimming advisory for part of Lake Davidson. Griffith Street runs along the bottom of the map
July 10. A no swimming advisory has been lifted for a cove on Lake Davidson after results from routine water quality monitoring revealed elevated bacteria levels. There was not a sewage spill.
Lake Davidson is separated by I-77 from Lake Norman.
The elevated bacteria levels are most likely associated with natural conditions and high temperatures, not to mention geese as well as dog droppings, according to Charlotte Water.
