Telco Credit Union robbed
Police are still looking for a individual who robbed the Carolinas Telco Federal Credit Union on West Catawba Avenue, adjacent to the side entrance for The Shops at Fresh Market.The incident happened shortly after 2 pm.
Cash was apparently found behind the nearby Steinmart, next to a bicycle. Police spokeswoman Betsy Shores said the investigation was still under way and the suspect had not been apprehended as of 4:30 pm.
Residents in the Blue Stone Harbor neighborhood off nearby Knox Road were emailing neighbors and telling them to lock their doors.
