“Jam the Hype,” a teen festival with live music, food trucks, games and giveaways will be Saturday Aug. 20 from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Oak Street Mill in downtown Cornelius. Local churches and student ministries around the area are collaborating on the free event for high school and middle school students to help launch the new school year. Performers include Knowne Ghost, The New Natives and Dae Lee.
