 July 23. The Lake Norman HarborHippos will make their playoff debut tonight at 7:00pm at Huntersville Athletic Park, taking on the Randolph Ropin’ Roosters in a divisional matchup. Tickets are $7 and available at the gate.

This is the HarborHippos’ inaugural season in the Old North State League (ONSL), a wood-bat collegiate summer league with four divisions across North Carolina. Competing in the six-team Mountain Division, Lake Norman finished the regular season in third place with a .500 record, while the Ropin’ Roosters placed last with a .345 winning percentage.

Both teams feature college players from across the state.
