Historic Rural Hill in Huntersville is a 265-acre former plantation owned by Mecklenburg County and managed by the non-profit.
“This role is contemplated to run through the Loch Norman Highland Games in April of 2023,” said McIntosh. He said the board will explore options for a permanent placement.
Phillips, who runs Old Store Produce, replaced Jessica Bustamante who held the position for a few years. Phillips started the interim position in late November.
“The board is excited to have Stacy’s insight and local knowledge and experience in making Historic Rural Hill a destination and continuing the tradition of solid event planning and execution for the site,” McIntosh said in an email.
