The Rock N Run 5K/10K will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, in Birkdale.

The race, which starts at 8:30 a.m., will benefit The Rotary Club of Lake Norman-Huntersville and the children’s charity Little Smiles. The event will include live music and prizes for the top finishers.

Proceeds from the run will benefit children in local hospitals, hospices, shelters and similar facilities.

There will be ample parking available in the Jason’s Deli parking lot, 16639 Birkdale Commons Parkway, Huntersville.
