July 1. This is a huge year for Run for Green, Davidson Land Conservancy’s only fundraiser, starting at the Davidson Village Green in September.

It’s the 20th running of the race on Sept. 27 and early registration earns you $10 off.

There are a few changes. One big one: a large roundabout is being installed in the middle of the course at the intersection of Robert Walker Drive and Davidson-Concord Road.

While this is great for traffic flow, it’s tough for runners. The half marathon is being suspended this year, but the 10K is available instead.

Also new is a one-mile fun run/walk.
