Public invited to comment on proposed improvements to NC 73

Nov. 13. The NC Department of Transportation is  holding two meetings tomorrow to discuss proposed projects to widen a section of Sam Burr Road.

Specifically, a project would widen N.C. 73 to a four-lane divided roadway and another would improve the I-77/N.C. 73 interchange. 

These projects would affect neighborhoods and traffic in Lake Norman.

The drop-in style meetings will be held from 2-4 pm and 5-7 pm Tuesday, Nov. 14 at Lake Norman Baptist Church, 7921 Sam Furr Road at the West Catawba Avenue in Huntersville.

People may attend either meeting at any time to discuss the projects with NCDOT staff.
