
The Catalinas
May 19. Mecklenburg County’s “Sundown Sounds Music Series” returns to three Mecklenburg County parks, including Ramsey Creek Park on Nantz Road on June 20, July 18 and Aug. 15.
The free, family-friendly concert series is hosted at Eastway Regional Recreation Center, Pearl Street Park and Ramsey Creek Beach. Music begins at 7:30 pm each night.
The line-up:
- Thursday, June 12: Fix You at Pearl Street Park
- Friday, June 20: The Catalinas at Ramsey Creek Beach
- Thursday, June 26: Renaldo Brahn at Eastway Regional Recreation Center
- Thursday, July 10: Chicago Rewired at Pearl Street Park
- Friday, July 18: Too Much Sylvia at Ramsey Creek Beach
- Thursday, July 24: The Queens Court at Eastway Regional Recreation Center
- Thursday, Aug. 7: Foo 4 You at Pearl Street Park
- Friday, Aug. 15: Gary Lowder & The Smokin Hot at Ramsey Creek Beach
- Thursday, Aug. 21: DK Harrell at Eastway Regional Recreation Center
Bring blankets or lawn chairs; local food trucks will be onsite. Beer will be available for purchase by adults 21 years and older (no outside alcohol is permitted).
