TYLER

Howell Mitchell Tyler, 72, of Charlotte passed away at his home on Sunday, June 14 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Tyler was born on February 19, 1943 in Horry County, SC. He retired in 2007 after 45 years in the printing industry and came home to enjoy his family and his love for collecting antique John Deere Tractors.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sally Tyler, his son Mitchell and wife Angie of China Grove; 2 grandsons, Michael (Holly) and Sam; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Ginger Penninger and a special aunt, Tillie Mullis. Mr. Tyler was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jimmy.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Tuesday, June 16 at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday at Carolina Memorial Park-Harrisburg with Rev. Shawn Barkely officiating.
