Feb. 19. By Tonya Rivens. The funeral for Gabriel “Gabby” Henderson will be held at 2 pm Thursday, Feb. 25 with visitation from 1:30 pm until 2 at Wayne Russell Funeral Home, 3715 Beatties Ford Road, in Charlotte.

The 25-year-old mother of five was accidentally shot at her home on Meridian Street on Monday.

The family has received an outpouring of support from the community. A GoFundMe account established on Tuesday for $10K is currently at more than $9,700.

Gabby’s family is also working to establish a plan to channel the display of compassion in a manner that will benefit the children.

Wayne Russell Funeral Home has advised that all attendees should expect to follow all COVID protocols for safety measures.
