Frank W. Carper, 77, of Cornelius died December 2, 2015 at the Brian Center of Mooresville. He was born on August 11, 1938 to the late Ashby and Elizabeth Wilkins Carper. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with an MBA. He served in the US Army and retired from Barclay’s Bank. He was a member of Grace Covenant Church.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife Cecelia Carper in 2014.

 

He is survived by his son, Michael and wife Christy of Cornelius; daughters, Lori Richardson of Cornelius and Heidi Jeffords of Huntersville; brother Ashby Carper, Jr. of Elizabethtown, NC; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 4 at James Funeral Home with Paul Turbedsky officiating. Visitation will be 10-11 AM prior to the service. The entombment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park following the service.
