There were 3,121 new COVID cases as well as 5 new deaths reported county-wide between yesterday and today.

North Mecklenburg (change from Wednesday)

• Cornelius: 73 new cases, 6,108 cumulative total, 32 deaths cumulative total.

• Davidson: 49 new cases, 3,667 cumulative total, 20 deaths cumulative total.

• Huntersville: 165 new cases, 13,874 cumulative total, 82 deaths cumulative total.
