Aug. 20. As Novant Health reports a 1,600 percent increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations, the NC Dept. of Health and Human Services today reported that COVID-19 hospitalizations have increased again. Cornelius Police suspend fingerprinting service

Because of the rising number of COVID -19 cases, the Cornelius Police Department is  temporarily suspending fingerprinting until further notice. Fingerprints are sometimes required for job applicants or new hires in certain industries.
