Animal Shelter closed to public

March 27. The Cornelius Animal Shelter is officially closed to the public. Adoptions are by appointment only through the town’s website. If you have an animal to surrender, please contact the shelter first. Animal Control staff will respond to priority calls only until the order is released. Click here for adoptable pets.
