Outdoor fires banned

Nov. 17. The Mecklenburg County Fire Marshal’s Office has issued a ban on all outdoor fires, including fire pits and planned fires for which a permit has been issued. The lack of rainfall and drought conditions have dramatically increased the risk of fires.
