Aug. 24 workshop to help job-seekers navigate NC Works

Aug. 23. Lori Carlson of the NC Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services will present a workshop Wednesday, Aug. 24, on how to navigate the online job search resource NC Works.

The workshop, sponsored by Helping Other Help Themselves, will take place from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Lake Norman Chamber Conference Room, 19900 W. Catawba Ave., Cornelius.

Susan Park of INSIGHTS for Business Growth will also be on hand to talk about “Managing the Emotional Effects of Job Loss.”
