Dec. 8. This is our first forecast of the fall with weather that supports five days of soup. Top five soups in no particular order – gumbo, French onion, beef and noodle, sausage veggie tortellini and Zurek. My friend’s mom introduced to me Zurek a few years ago. It’s a Polish sour soup that is unlike anything you’ve ever eaten. Don’t tell her but I leave out the hard boiled eggs.
