Old Town clean-up is Saturday

March 24. Curbside Cleanup takes place in Old Town Cornelius on Saturday, with members of the Smithville Community Coalition, Catawba North Group, First Baptist Church of Cornelius, YMCA and the Cornelius Police Dept. joining in as well as WastePro.

Volunteers will collect bulk trash items and take them to strategically located dumpsters in Smithville, Catawba North and Olde Mill Village.

The event runs from 8 am to noon. Volunteers are welcome.

Volunteeers will meet at Smithville Park between 8 am and 8:30 am.

Looks like Catawba North got the short end of the stick.Dumpsters are full and trash is still out everywhere north of Catawba.
