Here’s a look at what’s coming up:

Feb. 28

Black History Bingo/Trivia

2 pm. The program is free to attend. Attendees should  pre-register by phone at 980-314-1127. All ages are welcome to join. Masks will be required indoors. David B. Feb. 28,  March 1 and 3

Open Track Nights on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays

6-8 pm. James Hoyt Wilhelm Park’s 1/4-mile walking track will be lighted on Mondays and Bailey Road Park’s regulation track will be lighted on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both open to the public.

March 2

Mt. Zion Ash Wednesday service

8:30 am abbreviated service in the Sanctuary.  6:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 19600 Zion Ave.

Community in Christ Ash Wednesday services

Noon Holy Communion and imposition of ashes with shortened liturgy. 7 pm Holy Communion and imposition of ashes in-person and live-streamed. Community In Christ Church, 7621 Norman Island Dr.

March 3

Thinking’ & Drinkin’ Trivia

7 pm, but you can join at any round. Every Thursday.  Lost Worlds Brewing, 19700-D One Norman Blvd.

March 3: Music Bingo at Eleven Lakes Brewing Company

March 5

Rhythm & Brews 

7-10 pm. Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center The 8th annual Rhythm is & Brews benefitting Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center. Lost Worlds Brewing  will close  for the event, but everyone in the community is welcome to purchase a ticket and attend. Your $75 ticket can be purchased online.

March 6

Hugh Torance House and Store Tour 

1-4 pm.  Step back in time to 1779 and explore the Hugh Torance House and Store, 8231 Gilead Road, Huntersille. Guided tours at 1:15 and 3 pm. There is no fee but donations are most welcome.

March 5: Davidson Farmers Market

Davidsons Farmers Market 

9 am – noon. Winter Market.

Arbor Day celebration 

9 am to noon. Join Davidson Land Conservancy at the Davidson Farmer’s Market. Pot a seedling and bring it home to plant in your yard.

Home Grown

Visit the exhibit during Cornelius Arts Center gallery regular business hours, 10 am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Admission is free.
