Oct. 1. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education will hold an emergency meeting at 6 pm Thursday to consider modifications to the In-Person and Remote Learning Plan for the 2020-2021 school year.
CMS could bring elementary students back for in-person learning more frequently than originally planned two weeks ago. The change could increase the number of days elementary students attend CMS but stops short of a full return to classrooms. The proposal would not bring students back into the classroom faster. It does not affect middle and high school grades
