Community Thanksgiving service Monday

Last Updated: November 15, 2017

A Cornelius tradition, the annual  community Thanksgiving service, will be held at Torrence Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church on Monday, Nov. 20 at 7 pm. Rev. David Judge, pastor of First Baptist Church, Cornelius will deliver the  message. The all-church choir will rehearse promptly at 6 pm on Monday. The anthem is “Come, Thou Fount” arranged by Craig Courtney. The other songs will come from the church hymnal. The hymns are: “We Gather Together,” “Come Ye Thankful People, Come” and “Bringing in the Sheaves.”  All choir members should be robed.
After the service, there will be refreshments in the Fellowship Hall.
