Zoom call: Doing business during COVID-19

US Rep. Alma Adams (NC-12) will host a Zoom call at 3 pm Friday, April 3 to connect small business owners; nonprofit, charity and faith-based institution leaders; independent contractors, gig economy workers and 1099 employees; and the self-employed with federal, state, and local programs that can provide help and support during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Zoom call will help connect residents with the resources they need to make it through the COVID-19 situation, Adams said.

Participants will be able to ask questions during a Q&A portion of the call. Constituents can register for the call by visiting https://adams.house.gov/meeting.

“From SBA loans and expanded unemployment assistance, to federal and local grants, there are resources for small businesses and families that are struggling,” Adams said.
