Nov. 6. What did you do yesterday? Dr. Jim Montague went up on the roof of Lakeside Charter Academy as part of a fundraiser for new technology at the school. The goal was $12,000 and they reached $14,000, says Montague, the principal. Lakeside Charter Academy is a tuition-free Neighborhood Charter School with 215 students in grades K-8. It’s the only charter school in Cornelius.
