Weekly Planner Jan. 18-23: Here’s the scheduled events

Jan. 21: Class of 2021 Induction Ceremony at NASCAR Hall of Fame

Trying to figure out what to do? This calendar, published weekly on Mondays, can point you to some of the best options in Lake Norman.

Here’s a look at what’s coming up:

Jan. 18  and 20

Open Track Nights on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays

6-8 pm. James Hoyt Wilhelm Park’s 1/4-mile walking track will be lighted on Mondays and Bailey Road Park’s regulation track will be lighted on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both open to the public. Weather permitting.

Jan. 20

Comedy Night 

Showtime is 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person. Tickets are available  via Eventbrite.  Davidson Wine Co., 121 Depot St., Davidson

Jan. 21

Adult Night Out 

6:30-8:30 pm. Make a welcome sign.  Huntersville Rec Center, 11836 Verhoeff Dr. $15 Huntersville resident; $20 others.

Art exhibit closing reception 

6-8 pm. Fibers & Frames closing reception at the Cornelius Arts Center gallery.

NASCAR Hall of Fame 

Tickets  to the Class of 2021 Induction Ceremony and weekend activities.

Jan. 21-23

CLT Independence Soccer Showcase 

U13 – U19 Girls in Huntersville.

Jan. 22

Harry Potter Children’s Suite for Orchestra 

11 am – noon. Presented by Charlotte Symphony. Kids ages 4-9  learn about the different sections of the orchestra from The Boy Who Lived. Featuring music from John Williams’s score. $14. Knight Theater at Levine Center for the Arts, Charlotte. Call 704-972-2000 to order.

Cardio Funk 

9-10 am. Saturdays. This high-energy class takes place at Bailey Road Recreation Center. $5/class or $40 for a 10-class pass. pay at the door.

Davidsons Farmers Market 

9 am – noon. Winter Market. 

Jan. 23

Open Gym Senior Pickleball 

1-3 pm Sundays at JV Washam Recreation Center.

Kids Cre-afting

3-5 pm. Do you want to build a snowman? Ages 6-18. Register by Jan. 18. Huntersville Rec Center, 11836 Verhoeff Dr. $10 Huntersville resident; $15 others.
