The North Carolina Baroque Orchestra joins the Chorale, Chamber Singers and Choral Arts Society Davidson to present one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s greatest and uplifting vocal works, the Magnificat in D Major. 10 am to 5 pm | April 29. Art, live music and food. Davidson’s juried art festival features booths filled with top-quality art works from artists throughout the region. Downtown Davidson.

Presented by the Davidson-Cornelius Child Development Center and centered on the Town Green, the walking tour will feature unique architectural styles, interior design, historical landmarks and local artists. Adult admission is $40, children 2-12 are $15 with advance purchase.

Mamaloshen – Discussion on Yiddish Culture and Music

9 am | Mondays, Jan. 9 – May 8. Avid birders provide a guided walk to identify birds throughout Wing Haven Garden & Bird Sanctuary and SEED Wildlife & Children’s Garden. The 3.5 acre open space is conducive to many local and migratory songbirds. The walk is slow paced with opportunities to rest on benches and be still for the birds.
