Davidson College Symphony Orchestra: Play Ball!

Davidson Community Players: ‘The Humans’

In The Humans, Stephen Karam documents the distinctly present-day Blake clan as a symbol of the disappearing middle class, with millennial children facing struggles their parents never faced while the parents also witness their promised safety vanish before them. Bound by love but consumed by a gnawing sense of dread, the Blakes meet for Thanksgiving dinner in New York City at one of their greatest moments of crisis. Recommended ages 15 and up.
