Sept. 3: International Vulture Awareness Day

International Vulture Awareness Day

10 am -2 pm.  Learn interesting facts about vultures, why they are important for a healthy ecosystem, and what you can do to help protect vultures and their habitat. There will be vulture-related crafts, a scavenger hunt on the Raptor Trail, a food truck, a silent auction to support the Peregrine Fund, and many opportunities to watch educators working with vultures through keeper talks and interactions on the trail.
