Pumpkin patches at Carrigans Farm and Hodges Family Farm
Through Oct. 31
Pumpkin picking daily. Pumpkin patch includes hayride to petting Zoo and pumpkin field. Haunted Trail for ages 12 and older. Advanced reservations are required for both actives. Pumpkin picking cost is $14 per person and includes a pumpkin. Haunted Trail price ranges from $20 to $40 per person depending on the date. 1261 Oakridge Farm Hwy., Mooresville.

Hodges Family Farm main entrance, 3780 Rocky River Rd. East, Charlotte. Open daily 9 am – 6 pm. Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, hay mountain to climb and jump on, barnyard animals, photo opportunities, picnic areas. Saturday and Sundays you can also expect: $5 parking, hayrides, Farm Shop, treats for purchase.

Claudia’s 5K: Call Out For Courage
8:30 am | Oct. 15. Walk or run 3.1 miles in the effort to bring awareness to the importance of good mental health and mental health care. Price increases after Oct. 13. Jetton Park 19000 Jetton Rd., Cornelius.
