Oct. 31. There are few guarantees when it comes to holiday weather, but we’ve noticed one over the years: It’s almost always cool and crisp on Halloween night. Tonight looks like the perfect forecast for a warm fire after trick-or-treating.
One other guarantee unrelated to weather — the kids’ Halloween bags will be at least half a pound lighter when they wake up tomorrow morning. Here’s hoping for a steady haul of Milk Duds, Sour Patch Kids and Smarties tonight.
