Weekend Weather: Cold and windy with a chance of rain
Jan. 16 – Cold temperatures and a slight chance of rain and snow make for a great weekend of scarfing down wings, chili, and playoff football. Sure would have been nice to catch another Panthers playoff game.
Today: Sunny, with a high near 46. South southwest wind 5 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Tonight increasing clouds, with a low around 34. South southwest wind 9 to 11 mph.
Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers before noon. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 52. Southwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Saturday night a 20 percent chance of rain after midnight. Increasing clouds, with a low around 33. West southwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming north northwest after midnight.
Sunday: A chance of rain and snow before 3pm, then a slight chance of rain between 3pm and 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 40. North wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Sunday night mostly clear, with a low around 22.
