April 25. Visit Lake Norman is launching its second annual photo contest, “Capture Lake Norman,” in search of the photos that best tell the story of Lake Norman. Whether a lake sunset, delicious food at a restaurant, lake activities with your family and friends, upscale shopping or a great experience at one of Lake Norman’s many parks, VLN wants pictures that embody the best of Lake Norman to you.

Winners of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be selected from the top 20 most-voted photo entries. The cover photo winner will be chosen from any of the entries.

Along with being featured in the 2016-2017 Official Lake Norman Visitor’s Guide, the grand prize winner will receive a $200 VISA gift card and Oakley sunglasses. The second place winner will receive a $100 VISA gift card and an Oakley backpack, the third place winner will receive a $50 VISA gift card and four Carolina Renaissance Festival tickets, and the cover photo winner will receive a paddleboard lesson for two from My Aloha Paddle and Surf.

The contest will be held now through noon June 20.
