Two companies in our own backyard rise on national lists

Park Avenue Properties in Cornelius is No. 2614 on Inc. magazine’s 34th annual 5,000 fastest growing companies list. This is the second year Park Avenue Properties has ranked on the list, which ranks the fastest-growing private companies in America. In 2014, the company ranked No. 1352

Park Avenue Company CEO, NC Rep. John R. Bradford III, said, “The American Dream is alive and well for those who want to take the risk and go after it.”

Lowe’s Inc. in Mooresville rose two spots on The Fortune 500 list, climbing from No. 52 to No. 50.

Lowe’s, the No. 2 home improvement chain after Home Depot, has benefited from the boom in the housing market and drop in gas prices that has given consumers more money to spend on home improvements. For the year ended Jan. 30, the company reported $52 billion in revenue.
