Rockie Lynne Band. Country music. 5 – 9 pm. Free. No outside coolers permitted. 401 Langtree Rd., Mooresville.

Donate blood

A OneBlood blood drive will be held at Birkdale Village. Make appointments  here.  Donors will receive  a $20 eGift Card and free car sunshade.

May 28

Live Under The Oaks

May 28: The Mod 60s will perform at Birkdale Village

The Mod 60s. 6-8 pm at Birkdale Village in the Grove. A bar will be onsite in the designated area provided by Red Rocks Cafe. Guests are strongly encouraged to continue social distancing in groups and wear masks.

Huntersville Growers’ Market

8 am to noon.  An outdoor, open air market, offering fresh produce, eggs, baked goods, dog treats, select craft items, free chef samples and more. Veterans Park, Main Street and Maxwell Street, Huntersville.

May 31

Memorial Day Observance – Cornelius

10 am on the Cornelius Town Hall lawn across from the Cornelius Veteran’s Monument at Rotary Plaza. The Town of Cornelius and American Legion Post 86 will honor servicemen and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Master of Ceremonies is Commander Gene McKinney, American Legion Post 86 and at the keynote speaker is the  Rev. Dr. Tom Labonte. An invocation and closing prayer  will be led by  Pastor David Judge, First Baptist Church of Cornelius.

The event will also include: POW/MIA Empty Chair and Wreath of Remembrance ceremonies; patriotic music by Tony Bailey; 21-gun salute.

Memorial Day Ceremony 2021 – Huntersville 

11 am to noon. The Town of Huntersville and American Legion Post 321 will host the 20th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Veterans Park, Main Street and Maxwell Street, Huntersville. This year’s Memorial Day Ceremony will be held in person and recorded live, following COVID-19 requirements.

June 1

Growers’ Market

9 am – 1 pm at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center’s  front lot off Gilead Road.

June 2

Community Blood Drive  

Cornelius will be partnering with One Blood to host a blood drive 10 am to 3 pm at Town Hall. Schedule an appointment.
