May 15. The Lake Norman Tennis Association is seeking volunteer representatives at this year’s USTA 18 and over, and the NC State Championships held at 11 area tennis courts June 11-14. The organization is looking for site coordinators, operations support and  help with with community sponsorships, which includes requesting monetary and in-kind donations in the community. The state tennis tournament is all about showcasing the Lake Norman community to players from all across North Carolina. Volunteers can contribute as little as 3 hours. Training and T-Shirts are provided by USTA-NC a week prior to the tournament. Also, each volunteer is eligible for 2 complimentary tickets to the Winston-Salem Open.
