Tawba Walk Returns to Downtown This Saturday

Old Town Cornelius will turn into a walkable festival on Saturday as the spring version of the annual Tawba Walk returns with live music, food, art and family activities spread across downtown streets.

More than 125 vendors will line the downtown festival alongside 11 food trucks, 13 sweet treat spots and six local craft breweries, creating a full-day destination for visitors. Families can also enjoy two kid zones, a petting zoo, face painting and gem mining, while DJ Festivus brings new energy to the food truck court for 2026.

Music will run all day on two stages. At the Warehouse Performing Arts Center main stage at Oak Street Mill, the lineup includes the Heidi Sidelinker Band from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Stormin’ Norman Experience from 4 to 5:30 p.m., and Unknown Artist from 6 to 8 p.m. The Town Hall stage will feature continuous sets from Modern Medicine, Haley Vogal, The Throwbacks, Velvet Static, The Cover Up and Uptown Delta.

Organizers say the event highlights local talent, small businesses and community connection in the heart of Old Town Cornelius.

The event, held each year in the spring and fall, is expected to draw crowds throughout the afternoon as residents and visitors explore live art, street performers and pop-up surprises across Old Town. Admission is free and events run from 2 to 8 p.m.

Organizers encourage attendees to walk, linger and support local businesses throughout the day. Parking and access points are available around downtown Cornelius, excluding the Food Lion and Walgreens parking lots.
