AirBNB is illegal in Cornelius for general residential zoning I other than condos and townhomes (if hoa allows it).
Giving one landowner the right for their two large homes to have unlimited overnight lodging is showing preference over all other landowners. And allowing events at short terms rentals is also illegal but that is exactly what the Griffins want to do in a quiet residential neighborhood. It isn’t consistent with the towns promise for quality of life. This shouldn’t be allowed.
