Sun Raised Foods holding special lamb dinner this Saturday

Oct. 31. Cornelius-based Sun Raised Foods is holding farm-to-table lamb dinners on Nov. 2 and Nov. 9 at their largest farm in Biscoe. The event starts at 3 pm with a tour of the 200-acre farm where 500 sheep, seven Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs, peacocks, chickens and other animals live. After the tour, guests will sit outside at one long table for a four-course dinner featuring Sun Raised Foods lamb and local vegetables. The event is $125 per person which includes the tour, dinner and wine pairings.

  1. I highly recommend this event! Four of us did this in the spring, it was so informative educational about the solar farm, the sheep, the farm experience and of course the lovely meal. Hosts Joel and Tonje, just wow!
