State of the Town Address on Tuesday
Cornelius leaders will hold a State of the Town Address Tuesday night at Cain Center for the Arts.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Mayor Denis Bilodeau, town commissioners and department heads will share updates on what’s happening across town, highlight recent achievements and discuss priorities for the coming year.
The address will give residents an opportunity to hear directly from town officials about ongoing operations and what’s ahead for Cornelius.
Elected officials and department heads will be available for individual conversations and questions at the conclusion of the event.
An RSVP is requested, but not required, so organizers can get an idea of the expected crowd size. Click here to RSVP.

Town Board meeting
The light agenda for Monday night’s Town Board meeting includes a presentation from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools board member Charlitta Hatch and approval of budget amendment items related primarily to the police department and electric fund.
