St. Patrick’s Day observations continue

St. Patrick’s Day honors the patron saint of Ireland. The holiday has evolved into a celebration of Irish culture with parades, special foods, music, dancing and beverages. You can still get your green on!

Friday, March 18

Luck of the Village 

6-9 pm. An evening full of live music, dancing, festive gear and more to celebrate the  second annual Luck of the Village at Birkdale Village, Huntersville.

Saturday, March 19

Irish Connection

1-6 pm. Irish music, dance and history, and more. Free community event for all ages at the Cedar Grove and the Hugh Torance House and Store, 8231 Gilead Rd., Huntersville.

St. Patrick’s Day Shamrocks & Shenanigans 

3-8 pm. Head to downtown Mooresville for a St. Patrick’s Day festival and bar crawl. The festivities include Irish dancers, pipe bands, food trucks, beer, wine and more fun on Main & Broad streets, between Center  and Moore avenues. Tickets are required only for the Bar Crawl portion of the event, at $25 per person.

St. Patrick’s Pop Up Market

11 am – 4 pm. Time To Shine Pop Up is back at Merino Mill, 500 South. Main St., Mooresville. Music and give-away.
